We want to answer your questions, interest you, and educate you, not only about ag aviation but also agriculture in general - a very important industry to our nation and the world. Thanks for being here!

We filmed this June 9th and we still haven't gotten that Northeast. It has been the busiest spring to date and we severely underestimated everything about maintenance (cost/time/frustrations). We have always had so much respect for ag specific aircraft mechanics but we have gained a whole new level of respect after seeing firsthand the reality of it. Anyway, our season is well underway and we are excited for what's to come. We are really trying hard to continue creating videos but we have had to put a few things on hold while we work on growing our business. We appreciate you all sticking around with us.

Wow that was a lot of information that I had no idea about. Thank you
60 crashes a year. 7 die.
😂 at ho lee shiiit.
We appreciate the update. Looking forward to the episode on the Cessna. Best Wishes to You, Your Family and Friends.
Flightware says the AirTractor's last action date is 2022-10-27. What happened to N5075L? 😕
Tyson had ADS-B when he flew it so I'm guessing that is where that is coming from. Our last season in 75L was 2022.
Cool an ol AgTruck huh? My Paw had brand new Agwagon for awhile, I watched a hired pilot stall it in a turn and wreck it, he was fine, dumba$$! Dad also had a Cat & some pawnees, a Brave was his last. He started out with sketchy Super Cubs with soreson spray kits, lost his best friend spraying in one of them:( But that was forty some years ago now since he quit and I never got into it other than helping Dad at the time. You guys take care of business first, dont worry about YT and stuff, we'll be here :)👍
You guys are great. Hope it's a great season for you and looking forward to following along.
You have a mobile fuel truck, does that include chems? I asked a year ago or so if you could land on local roads to reload and refuel. Will this allow you to do that now or do you still have to ferry from an airport? My first AG-air job was driving a water truck with a 500-gal tank and no breaks in the Oklahoma Panhandle. I was 16. Boss gave me $.50 to fill the tank at the city water works at 0400 every morning. Great times!
Are you an A and P?
Algeria buy this plane from sud Africa
Thanks for the upload, good luck with the business growth!
Hello Cally & Tyson. Missed you guys. Welcome back and good luck for the season and the rest of 2024. John from Adelaide here.
After following y’all for a couple years now and being interested in the industry, this year is my first season as a ground loader/handler! Hoping continues to go well and want to be a pilot one day! Howdy from kansas!
You both will do good together with your business.
It looks like you guys work together on the planes, thats awesome. Any contents regarding maintenance is nice to see as well as the flying business end of it. Have a great season and looking forward to the C-188 video(s).
Thanks for the update. Been looking forward to seeing the two of you. And now plus another aircraft as well as crew! FLY SAFE!
Neat explanation
Big pasture acres sounds like a dream! Here in Kansas we’re 90% herbicide with a 602 and a 502. In one day we can be spraying summer fallow, wheat harvest aid, alfalfa, milo, corn and vegetables! A lot of logistics, a lot of cleaning out, a dedicated clean load rig for the touchy jobs and a LOT of smoke oil…
So what are your max wind speeds that you can work in?
This lady is natural in front of the camera. Watched her interview about spraying at night in Cali, and what great questions and editing. Good luck this season guys!
HAPPY LANDINGS... AND SPRAY ON !
No such thing as a trad wife. All women are feminist. Where men are aggressive, women are manipulative. You're naive if you think she's not using you for your money and cheating on you while you're at work. It's what women do.
Glad to see that things are coming together for you guys, thanks for the update. Believe me, I can relate to your stress. Took my semi truck in to the shop to get a leaking water pump replaced and “oh by the way, your radiator has a leak too which is about $3400 plus labor.” Always something…🙄
Oh man! A small issue is never a cheap or easy fix it seams. Thanks for watching and commenting!! We appreciate you!
@@AgAviationAdventures definitely not! I appreciate you guys as well.
Looking forward to your new season .
Thanks for following along!
Great to hear from y’all!! I can only imagine how much is involved in keeping your business going with so many moving parts. I’ve ran my own company for 22 years, so I can sympathize with you. New people and equipment are always stressful and kind of a crapshoot this day and age. I’m glad you’ve found two good reliable people! People can actually be your greatest asset. I’m looking forward to hearing about the Cessna. Is that a 188? I’m not as familiar with the Cessna Ag rigs. Take care and stay safe! 🤠👍
100% on all fronts!! The team will make or break the operation. We are super lucky this year (and have been in past years as well) and the guys are kicking ass. Yes, the Cessna is a 188. We're excited to do a walk through of it!! It's actually a sweet plane. Thanks for all the support, always!
Good luck guys 👍 Thanks for the update. 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🙂
Thank you for watching and commenting!! Means a lot.
yay! glad to see you guys. sure lucked out with the help, that's amazing
We feel incredibly fortunate, that's for sure. It makes things way smoother with a solid crew. Thanks for following along!
Cally, that was an excellent tour and Jeff was the "Tour Guide" to make it a most informative day. I retired after about 25 years in electronic production so Jeff's descriptions were very interesting. I was an ISO 9001 inspector for many years. ISO 9001 is a system that documents and works with production manufacturing to ensure that the processes are documented and adhered to in production. The way Jeff described your tour through the factory shows how well they work with that kind of process. Your audio presentation was just fine... don't even worry about it! Noises on a production floor are part of the environment. I barely noticed them. Thanks for an excellent presentation.
Thank you, Gary!! I really appreciate the kind comment and you watching. It was really a fun experience and we'd love to return with a full production crew.
What a collosal waste and inefficient way to spray.
It actually works really well for their needs there.
I live down in the delta and I went to school 5 minutes away from there I just can’t wait to get a license
Nice!!
That’s like when we switch the plane over mid western people don’t do it often
Haha!! For sure.
Very interesting video. Thank you
Thanks for watching!
With a family, not worth risking your life for any amount, unless you don't mind if another man raises your kids
Interesting point. I can't speak to this because we don't have kids but, we know a lot of people who do and have a very healthy family life as well.
True
Glad I'm not the only one!
Had a heli do the field across the road for the first time last year, and one word crazy! They looked like they flew closer to the edge than the planes! Always fun to watch.
Kind of depends on the situation! But a thorough ag pilot, whether fixed or rotor, will cover the entire field.
Did you hear about the pilot that collided with another pilot and was killed in Lubbock Texas? air tractors
Yeah we did. It is a very small industry so we all hear about accidents fairly quickly. We're sending all our thoughts to those involved.
Very good informations about how a helicopter is controlled and how this whole crop spraying job works! I would love to watch some flight footage. But maybe there is and I did not see it. Yet! Thanks from a RC heli freak!!
Thanks!! We didn't get to observe Chas spray a field but we did get to go for a mock spray run in the heli and it was a blast! Thanks for watching!
What's the Part Number?
100156
I had one
Nice!
I think the Thrush packs a good load and can handle the rough strips in No Cal rice. But, the AT is so fast and packs a big load it’s hard to beat if you’re trying to make money. I think it flys weird, but I’ve only flown the 802. Can’t take your eyes off that one😂
For sure!
Good turning that’s the only thing I’m nervous about flying
Thanks for watching!!
You will do it l’m nervous too because I have to go though it too
Thanks for watching!
What are you spraying?
Pasture
What helmet brand is that?
Evo! ua-cam.com/video/taP_lHZ2arQ/v-deo.html
Man idk what to do I want to join the aviation industry was planning to go to school at CAU but I don’t want to go the traditional major airline route rather do something useful like this but i would like to still make my current pay at my job or more if I switch industries it’s hard to decide
Yeah it's tough to have to take a pay cut to follow a passion.
It's funny watching people wearing masks! Hahahaha, I can't believe people fell for it. I got Covid early on before Vaccine, 2 months later, I went and got tested for natural built-up antibodies and natural immunity. My Doctor said I was good and didn't need any Vaccine or even any Boosters later on.
The funny thing about people like you is that even 4 years later you still have to talk about it.
@AgAviationAdventures always will, people are having massive Heart related problems, dying, an all new type of blood clot showing up in record numbers, Neuropathy, soring numbers in labeling unknown cause of death. These are all new Stats starting from 2022 yo now.
Understandable and we empathize with those who have been severely impacted by Covid. However, this video is not about that. It's about building airplanes.
Nice chrokee
Thanks it's not ours, we were just borrowing it.
Nice trailer
Thanks!
Is the other Trush in the back in annual
Yea
Hi! My name is Jason and I'm wondering if you have something set on the airplane that helps you get low enough to the crops but.stops you from touching them or even ground. I guess I. Saying how do you know your low enough or.at the proper height for.each crop.
No there isn't anything in the airplane that stops me from touching the crop. It's just flying and knowing where I need to be. It comes with time.
